My final research paper focuses on the subject of Christian persecution in Iraq after the Iraq War. In this text, I delve into the main justifications used by Muslim extremists for raging war against Christians. I chose this because it is this same reason as to why my Christian family had to leave Iraq and immigrate to the United States. As part of my journey of self-acceptance, this paper was critically in allowing me to face these realities from a journalistic, scholarly perspective and gain insight into the atrocities.
